This week’s question via the Soul Guidance Hub , comes from Rhianna Hopkins in the UK.

Question: I have taken huge steps forward, spiritually and emotionally, in the past few months and feel I have shifted more of my internal baggage than I could have done by years spent in therapy. Yet, my life does not reflect these intense inner changes. I just can't seem to move forward in any real tangible way. I just don't know what my next step is. How can I move forward from here?
 

Tal's Guidance: First of all congratulations on all the changes you are making Rhianna. It feels to me that you are preparing your 'inner soil' to hold and nurture your future goals to fruition. You see, without creating changes from the ground up, our goals, whatever they are, will not be able to take root.

It is so important to remember that most change occurs below the surface of our consciousness. A baby spends nine months in its’ mother’s womb before it is fully formed and ready to be born. Do we ever doubt there is a baby growing inside her mother’s womb simply because we can’t yet see, smell or touch her?

Let’s look at another example. A seed takes root beneath the ground, below the radar of our visibility, before it sprouts into the light of day.

You see, at times we forget that most growth takes place “underground” before it is visible to the eye.

Rhianna, it is so important to celebrate yourself for the changes you have made and honor that life is made up of an ongoing sequence of processes. Each process is laden with an innate wisdom. First the soil needs to be fertile before the seed can take root, then the seed requires a supportive environment that is conducive to nurturing its growth. Only then, when the foundational processes are in place, can the seed blossom into its highest potential.

Your job is to be fully present to the next impulse that arises within you (also known as your intuition) and then take action accordingly. In other words, you may feel a deep impulse to read a specific book, visit a particular friend or work with a specific mentor. Listen to your intuition and heed its call. This will guide you towards the next most conducive step on your journey towards fulfilling your highest potential.
