Soul Brewing

This week’s question via the Soul Guidance Hub comes from a woman in the UK who asked to remain anonymous. I will refer to her as Wendy.

Question: Dear Tal, I am successful in manifesting things I set my mind to achieve but not in matters relating to finance and success. In fact I note when I desire to improve myself I meet resistance and encounter the opposite to my intentions and dreams. Is there an explanation for this?

Tal's Guidance:

Dearest Wendy,

It is a well known fact that most of what runs our life is what we don’t know is running us.

All schools of ‘facilitation of consciousness’ (psychotherapy, coaching, even spiritual practices etc.) are founded on this very premise. Depending on the particular school of thought, this understanding is approached from various angles. So for example, cognitive therapy will approach this by working with our limiting beliefs and shifting these, coaching will tackle this by focusing on a specific goal and implementing a plan of action to counteract the resistance that comes up. A Jungian or more ‘spiritual’ approach often includes working with our dreams and associative world as well as honoring, accepting and nurturing the deeper purpose of all our experiences. Although this is a somewhat simplified version of a few schools of thought, all of these agree that part of healing , growth and movement includes awakening to or becoming conscious of those underlying patterns in our psyche and ‘field’ that we were not aware are running us.

So Wendy, if you really desire something and it is not showing up in your life, it simply means that there are still “subconscious” entanglements that have not yet been resolved. If you adopt a compassionate and loving approach to this, you can ditch the ‘new age guilt’, self judgment and sense of failure that often follows this realization and understand that this is a part of your unique journey and your next opportunity for growth and mastery.

We all have something we’re working on alongside other parts of our life that may be running so smoothly that we can simply forget to notice or appreciate them.

If you’ve been following me for awhile, you may already know that a few years ago I was in dire straits when it came to my financial well being. In fact, it literally took a ‘financial crisis’ to actually wake me up to the fact that I had a lot of learning, healing and growth to do in this arena.

But were there other areas in my life that were working great? Of course there were! Although I will openly admit that I was so entrenched in my  ‘financial pain’ that I would often forget that I had perfect health, a family who loved me, emotionally supportive friends, a roof over my head, a great education up my sleeve, years of travel and international experience……and you get the picture!

It was during my crisis that I made a very clear decision that I would spend however long it took to learn how I could become financially free and prosperous by sharing my gifts, doing what I love and have a portable business that would support my Sagitarian “traveling” spirit. Was it easy? Not necessarily. Like any heroic journey, it was about slaying those inner dragons and entanglements that were literally keeping me from my ‘gold’. It was a deep inner journey that has helped me transform the very core of my being which is now reflected in my newfound experience of prosperity and financial freedom!

And the same is available for YOU wherever you are on your journey!

I send you blessings of much love,

Blessings and love,

Dearest Cindy. What a gift that you have reached out and taken the time to place your energy in this space. Please know that I will be holding YOU and your process in the light. I know that when I went through my own “dark night of the soul” I was literally down on my knees asking God/Source/’all that is’ to show me the way. I was willing to surrender my will, or my idea of what was or wasn’t working, to a higher will. I then followed my guidance on a ‘moment by moment’ basis. I was guided to take action in ways that, up until then, my ego was simply not willing to do! This included relocating to another country, moving back in with my parents and getting really clear that I would never compromise my values, integrity or soul for any job, person or EGO (my own that is!). This has been my hero’s journey. I KNOW in my heart that this is but one stop along your own life’s path ….and not your entire journey. THIS TOO SHALL PASS even if you have no idea how! This is a time to ask for guidance and expect a miracle. Allow yourself to express your anger through writing – get it out of your system. Breathe. Get grateful for what you DO have (it can be food that you have on the table today, your eyesight or your willingness to reach out – look for what IS!).Hang out at your local library and read books about others who have sat in the fire and come out victorious. I am not sure which country you live in, but if you live in the US, email me so I can give you some direction with low cost therapeutic settings that may well serve you at this time too. I hold you in my heart and send you oodles of love and light my dear. xxTal

I found an e-mail today saying Tal Shai was following me, which made no sense. I am very ill, unable to work, losing my apartment in Jan, have no husband or children to help or support me in this hellish situation. So I’m making one last attempt at reaching out for any kind of hope….so if this is the Universe’s way of keeping me here a moment longer then I will listen.

Tal Shai says:

Dear Avihu, thank you for so openly sharing your ‘oh so human’ process!

And it is in this light that I would like to invite you to place the word “YET” after “I have not made it”. You see, when you add the “yet” part you acknowledge the fact that you are on a journey and a learning curve.

If this is your soul’s purpose and passion, there is no reason you should not arrive at your destination! I say “passion and purpose” because without these I would agree that “will power” alone is not enough fuel to get you to your destination.

Once you acknowledge that you are on a journey, you free up inner space to be more creative relative to the next steps needed to reach your goal. After all, if you were on your way to Elat from Tel Aviv and you had to stop in Beer Sheva because you ran out of gas, would you feel ashamed and unworthy as a result? I would guess not. You would probably figure that you simply need to fill up at the nearest gas station, right!

In the same way, If you are passionate about teaching, coaching etc. ask yourself, what is the next step that will help me come closer to my dream? It may be a new skill you have yet to learn, a mastermind group to inspire and cheer you on….whatever it is, consider it another step on your way to YOUR SUCCESS!

You’re simply not there YET!

Blessings and love to you as your journey unfolds:)
Tal

I have tried doing what you suggested and not nly was looking for my dream life but teaching other people how to do through coaching and N.L.P
I was not successful doing that and aknowledge the fact that there was fear of ”I will not be good enough” and who am I to teach
Even though I felt that I thought it at a college in Israel for 4 years[spiritual marketing] and never had enough privare tudents for coaching sessions
Part of me is still ashame that the teacher did not make it
